Jonathan Bartolotta, Program Manager

Jon Bartolotta has been working at UConn since 2017. He joined the School of Engineering Professional Education team in July 2021. He is excited about all the opportunities that the School of Engineering can provide for its students. His first role at UConn was working in the Veterans Affairs and Military Programs office with the Air Force ROTC program. Jon is an Air Force Veteran and was able to use that experience in that role. Jon has 2 children and enjoys triathlons, hiking, and going to the beach in his free time.

Carson Billingsley, Business Development & Marketing Associate

Carson joined UConn and the Professional Education team in April 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY New Paltz and an M.B.A. from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2019. In his free time, Carson enjoys reading, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and two dogs.

Rory McGloin, Associate Director, Communication Programming & Development, Associate Professor, Communication Department

Rory McGloin is an award-winning Associate Professor in the Department of Communication. Professor McGloin’s career in higher education spans 15 years, including engagements with over 10,000 learners to date and 30 peer-reviewed journal publications. Rory serves as the Associate Director of Communication Programming and Development for the UConn School of Engineering’s Professional Education Program.

Diane Perko, Program Administrator

After a brief period as a  stay at home mom and several years working for non-profits, Diane obtained her Associates Degree in Accounting from Manchester Community College.  She began her career at UCONN in 2004 and has been working in the School of Engineering since October 2007 and with the Professional Education program since 2011.

In her spare time she enjoys doing a variety of hand crafts, hiking, kayaking and snow shoeing with her family.

Kacey Pilver, Program Assistant

Kacey Pilver, Program Assistant

Kacey has been with the Professional Education program as a Program Assistant since June 2019. She earned a Bachelor of Science in math with a minor in biology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2017. She is currently working on her MBA at UConn. In her free time, Kacey loves cooking, taking trips to Cape Cod, and spending time with her two rabbits.
